I translate your cultures into interiors.

For people who live between identities — and want a space that doesn't ask them to choose.

I'm Shana, a Paris-based interior designer, originally from the U.S. I grew up between cultures, trained as a structural civil engineer, spent years leading global consulting projects across continents, and in 2019 crossed an ocean for love and started over — enrolling in a Master's in Interior Decoration at LISAA in Paris, studying entirely in French.

Today, I work with people who are navigating more than design. People building a life between countries, cultures, and versions of themselves.

Paris

“After moving into a new apartment in Paris, Shana thoughtfully helped us turn loose ideas and inspiration into a clear, tangible vision. We walked away not only with a beautiful new layout but also with practical details like exact measurements for rugs, coffee tables, and curtains, which I’d always felt lost about.”

Why Work With Me

I completed my Master’s in Interior Decoration at LISAA School of Design in Paris, studying entirely in French and developing a deep understanding of Parisian interiors and French design traditions.

Having grown up in the United States and built my life in Paris, I also understand the experience of arriving in a new country and navigating a new language, new spatial expectations, and a different way of living.

What I bring to your space isn't just knowledge of French interiors. It's a way of seeing.

Cultural translation
I translate your cultures into space. The result is a space that holds all of you, without the edit.

French interior landscape and vocabulary
Brands, ateliers, and materials rarely visible in English-language searches

Haussmann apartment realities
Scale, storage, and layouts that function differently once lived in

Spatial translations
Understanding how Paris apartments compare to other housing contexts

Your space should feel like you — all of you.

If it doesn't,
that's where I come in.
